Foundational Teacher Training
Join Abby and some of her favorite teachers for a 300-hour yoga immersion & foundational teacher training! The first 200 hours will focus on developing your understanding of yoga as an embodied and evolving process. The next 100 hours will focus on preparing you to teach.
This training will place strong emphasis on examining and developing your own personal practice, practical anatomy, teaching methodology, and yoga as an agent of social change. With a breadth of experience in yoga study and teaching, Abby brings a grounded understanding of yoga as a physical, emotional, and spiritual endeavor; with a masters degree in education, she brings a passion for teaching methodology that is student-centered, curiosity-driven, and competency-based. Roger McKeever will bring his nearly 20 years of yoga teaching experience to facilitate your study of yoga history and philosophy; T. Aisha Edwards, LMHC and somatic trauma therapist, will bring her years of mental health work to enrich your understanding of trauma-informed care; and Kara Giaier, Doctor of Chiropractics and yoga teacher, will lead the anatomy segment of the training.
Come prepared to practice, read, write, discuss, share, and grow!
