Yoga Teacher Mentorship

Module 1: Finding Your Voice

You've graduated from YTT. Maybe you're even teaching a few classes, but it's not a full time thing. You love yoga, and you want to share it with the world, but you have a few questions. Maybe you want to refine your cuing, incorporate philosophy into your asana classes, or simply learn more about the science of teaching. This program is designed to give you the tools you need to approach teaching with confidence and skill - because the world needs you!

This 8-week program includes:

  • Weekly Zoom session with Abby and your cohort of fellow teachers

  • Your own digital, editable copy of Tying the Strands: A Workbook for Yoga Teachers by Abby Kraai

  • Coaching on:

    • clarifying your mission and vision

    • class sequencing and theming

    • incorporating yoga philosophy into life and teaching

    • finding your niche

    • developing your unique voice & brand

  • Optional: Abby observes and offers feedback on one drop-in class (in-person, or recorded with permission), or one private session (recorded with permission)

  • Your own digital, editable copy of Attaining the Unattainable: A Workbook for Yoga Teachers by Abby Kraai

  • Personalized coaching on:

    • refining your mission and vision

    • finding your niche

    • expanding your offerings beyond drop-ins and workshops

    • creating sustainable, profitable work

    • cultivating an authentic online presence

  • Optional: Abby observes and offers feedback on one drop-in class (in-person, or recorded with permission), or one private session (recorded with permission)

"I’m starting to ask for more transparency, and set stronger boundaries around pay, energy, and time. [Our] conversations have been so eye opening in terms of what teachers deserve, particularly for those who do this for a living. Thank you so much for facilitating and holding space for these conversations."

- Christina, Washington, DC
